Thank you for the letter! I know it was probably quite a traumatic experience on mom and dad's computer - haha. Oh, don't worry about it Shan [not coming to the farewell] - no one could have known we were going to ship out early.
But yeah, the language is going well and I'm enjoying it quite a bit even though it's hard. But the food is ok - nothing to write home about...haha. My comps are both great Elders. Both very nice and spiritual - they are from Utah. Oh, and tell Matt I met an Elder at lunch who is going to Texas to speak Vietnamese. Matt went to Houston, no? Cuz that's where he was going.
I'm having a great time here- it's all so wonderful and it's a spiritual place. Learning is comparitively easy when compared to school. And yeah, you can put these on the blog if you'd like, just make sure to correct eny spling erors for me plese? haha.
But I better hurry up cuz I'm needing to stuyd for Saturday! I have to teach lesson #1 in Indonesian! Here's a little Indonesian for you. This is what I would say to introduce myself and bearing my testimony:
Nama saya Elder Johnson dari gereja Yesus Kristus dari orang-orang suci zahman alshif. Saya ingin bersaksi. Sa ya tahu babwa Allah hid up. Saya tahu bahwa Yesus Kristus mati dari kita. Saya tahu bahwa malali kurban tebusan dafat kembali kelada allah kita. (Note from Shannon - he wrote more of his testimony, but Matt's handwriting is a bit difficult to read so I apologize for any mistakes to his Indonesian).
Well, I've gotta go! Love ya and thank you for the letter. I love you all!
